Live Bait - where it began
The very first club/bar that I DJed at was a small, up and coming spot in Olde City (Before Olde City was what it is today). It was 1998 and I was asked to DJ a Sorority party upstairs at Live Bait. At the end of the night, Frank, the owner, asked me to spin every night.
For most of you in your late 20’s and early 30’s you may remember this place. It was a blast! It has long since closed down, but I have great memories of it and still talk to some wonderful people from there. It was located in the same building that Glam was in on 2nd street. This bar was one of the places that turned Olde City into the place to be - fire blowing bar tenders, animated patrons and of course, great music!
I recently had dinner with one of the upstairs bartenders, Jamison Delles. We reminisced about the good times, and the people - and what some of them are up to today. Unfortunately, I probably DJed the best type of club/bar I will ever have the chance to spin in at the beginning of my career. If I only would have known that at 18!
And for any Eagles fan reading this, you may know Sean, a bouncer from Live Bait. He is the craziest Eagles fan in the city. He is always in pads, painted face and screaming! I grew to become good friends with him.
So here is a big shout out to Dana, Art, Palace roller skating Joe, Sean, Brandon, Frankie Jr. and Sr., Donna, Mike, Vanessa , Doogie and all the rest.

Jade and Gordon
Jade and Gordon were married in a beautiful, intimate ceremony at Sweetwater Farm. In between the ceremony and reception, Jade, Gordon and their bridal party took advantage of the beautiful grounds, and animals, with their photographer Heather Fowler. Heather captured some beautiful moments and Jade and Gordon’s love and happiness just radiates from the images.
I checked in with Jade after the wedding to extend my congratulations and make sure they were happy with our services. Jade said, “Matt Bowyer did a fantastic job at the wedding. We were really happy with the music throughout the evening. I loved how he kept everybody on the dance floor during the reception!”
Jade and Gordon, we’re so glad that you were pleased and we wish you nothing but the best! Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your special day!
Thanks so much to our friend Heather Fowler for the images below. They’re absolutely beautiful! (Oh and if you’re a sports fan Jade may look familiar to you. She covers sports for Philadelphia’s NBC 10).

New equipment
Well, they finally came in. We recently got a new fleet of 46 inch LCD screens. They are beautiful! They're bright, HD and have an incredibly small edge - they're one of the best screens on the market today. We used them this past Sunday and they provided the WOW factor the bride was looking for. Our plasma inventory is ready to rock! Have you booked them for your event?

Synergetic on Facebook!
You can now visit us on Facebook! We have a new fan page up and running with the latest news and pictures. We will be starting some discussions soon and we always welcome your comments and feedback!
Since our new page is up and running we'd like to get the word out to our clients, past clients, potential clients and business partners! Our Facebook page will be THE place to get the latest - which will be important since we have a few things up our sleeves for the next few months!
Head on over to the Facebook page and become a fan of Synergetic! We are doing a big push to get the word out so we're offering a little incentive! When we reach 1,000 fans by December 31st we will do a drawing from all 1,000 fans. We will donate $500 to the charity of the winner's choice on behalf of the winner and Synergetic! We know times have been tough and we want to give back as I'm sure all of you do as well. With the holidays just around the corner, it is time to think of those less fortunate and in need and we thought this would be a nice way for us to give back as well as for us to help someone else give back!

Ronnie and John
Ronnie and John are a couple who had an image of exactly how they wanted their wedding to be and how to make that image a reality. For the ceremony, they had an image of Lanterns and unique, yet quaint and elegant lighting. They weren’t looking for anything flashy, but rather a classy and warm feeling. We, along with other professionals brought that vision to life with different size lighted lanterns, a Chuppah, and some bee lights. One look at the setup and the bride and groom were in awe!

That same passion which painted the picture of the ceremony transpired to the image and feel Ronnie and John wanted to create for dinner and dancing. They wanted a warm and inviting atmosphere for dinner with a little flare that would carry over to dancing. The bride and groom decided that pink would be the color; nothing over the top or florescent but still upbeat. Ronnie wanted the"WOW" factor and a wedding that her family, friends, and associates would remember. Between a consultation and a few conversations, Ronnie and John had conveyed their vision, and we were able to bring it to life at the National Constitution Center.

With the atmosphere created from the lighting and the dinner selections Mark and Ed played; the guests were ready to dance as soon as the plates were cleared. Ronnie and John wanted to ensure their guests had as much time to dance as possible and decided to extend the reception thirty minutes. They were on the dance floor from the first beat to the last; a very energetic and fun crowd!

Mark spoke with Ronnie and John after the wedding. They said it could not have gone better and they could not have asked for more! We are so glad that they were happy and truly enjoyed their special day!
Special thanks to David Zaveloff for the beautiful images!
