Chanukah begins tonight at sundown - we wish you and your family a very happy and healthy Chanukah!
I am looking forward to taking out the menorah, lighting the candles and making/eating latkes. Latkes can be a pain to make (for those of us who aren't great cooks), but they are so worth it! There are thousands of recipes out there, but I find using an egg and some starch, as well as squeezing as much water as possible out of the potatoes is very helpful. Frying latkes is the tradition, but for those who are health conscious, you can bake them as well. It's not the same but they're still good - plus you can always add some extra applesauce!
So however you celebrate, whether it's at home with a few loved ones, or at a huge party singing songs and playing dreidel, enjoy!
